2nd Grade Secret Reader Fridays

Dear 2nd Grade Parent/Guardian,

On Fridays, during the month of January, families are invited to volunteer for our Secret Reader Fridays (formerly known as Read-A-Loud). Volunteers come in during 1st period for about 15 to 20 minutes and read a book to the children. We have two time slots available for families to sign up, 8:30 to 8:50 a.m. and 8:55 to 9:15 a.m.

To the right of this invite, you will see an option to select a date. Select the date and time you are able to volunteer, press register, select your child's class and then fill out the form. If the date you selected is unavailable (Sold Out), you can select a different date from the main invite page. Once completed, you will get a confirmation from Eventbrite with the day and time you chose as well as a reminder the day before you are scheduled to read. We are asking families to please only pick one day and time.

If you would like to participate but are unsure of what book to read, your child’s teacher will be happy to make suggestions. Please note that religious stories are not permitted. We hope you will join us and support your child’s love of reading!
